Jekerdal offers hiking routes for all levels. We give you no less than seven walks in Jekerdal as recommended:
1. From Kanne to NATO headquarters - start in Kanne, Belgium, get a fresh piece of Limburg flan at Patisserie Smets, and walk past the Holy Sepulchre Chapel and Huis Poswick. After about 15 minutes, you'll reach the border post and the entrance to NATO headquarters Maastricht. So you get a unique combination of nature, culture and history. And the flan makes for an ideal picnic !

2. Walking route Cannerberg (7 km) - A beautiful route of the Limburgs Landschap (in Dutch) with start and finish at the NATO headquarters (address: Von Dopfflaan 6, Maastricht). Along the way, enjoy the rolling landscape and historical elements.
3. Sint-Pietersberg & Jekerdal (6.3 km)

4. Kanne Grenzeloos - Orange Route (7.9 km)

5. Around Château Neercanne - Follow a historic route around the castle and enjoy the surroundings. Linger for a delicious lunch or dinner. Please note that the gardens of Neercanne are not open to the public.
6. From Kanne to Fort Eben-Emael
