By public transport:

Maastricht Underground: Zonneberg Caves

On foot:
The Zonneberg Caves are about 40 to 50 minutes' walk from the Maastricht Store (tourist office) (Kleine Straat 1, Maastricht). We recommend using a map, available in the tourist shop, or navigation. The starting point of the Zonneberg Caves is located next to the country house Buitengoed Slavante.
By car:
GPS address: Slavante 1. From Hoge Kanaaldijk, follow the signs marked 'Slavante/Grotten Zonneberg' up Sint Pietersberg Hill and towards Buitengoed Slavante. Here there is limited parking. If the car park is full, you can park on Lage Kanaaldijk and walk the last part uphill.By coach:
There is a pick-up and dropp-off location at Lage Kanaaldijk (114). Short-term parking is allowed. From here you can walk uphill in 15 minutes to the meetingpoint of the tours for the Zonneberg caves. For the parking lot for coaches and other pick-up and drop-off locations click here.
By public transport:
Unfortunately, the Zonneberg Caves are not easily accessibly by public transport. We recommend taking the boat to the Zonneberg Caves. The boat departs at the City Center (Maaspromenade 58) and drops you off at the foot of Sint Pietersberg Hill. More info on www.stiphout.nl -
Maastricht Underground: Casemates Waldeck
Address: Waldeckpark, Maastricht.

On foot:
The Waldeck Casemates are about 15 to 20 minutes' walk from the Maastricht Store (tourist office) (Kleine Straat 1, Maastricht). We recommend using a map, available in the tourist shop or navigation. Visitors walking from the city centre should follow the signs to Bastion Waldeck. The Waldeckpark is located at one side of the Tongerseplein roundabout. Walk around the fortification. The red door you see in this park is the entrance to the Waldeck Casemates.
By car:

The regular local bus stop Tongerseplein/Hertogsingel is located on the Tongerseplein near the Waldeckpark. This may be used as a pick-up and dropp-off location for a maximum of 5 minutes, provided that public transport is not hindered. By public transport:
Take bus in the direction of St Pieter and get out at the stop 'Waldeckpark'. Walk back towards the park. Walk around the fortification. The red door you see in this park is the entrance to the Waldeck Casemates.

Maastricht Underground: Mission Underground

About a 15–20 minute walk from the Maastricht Underground Ticketshop and also about 15–20 minutes from the Maastricht Store (Kleine Staat 1, Maastricht). It is recommended to use a map or navigation app. Pedestrians coming from the city centre can also follow the ANWB signs for “Bastion Waldeck”. On one side of the large roundabout at Tongerseplein lies Waldeckpark. The Minister Goeman Borgesiusplantsoen is located across the street, on Elisabeth Strouvenlaan.By car:
Paid parking is available in the surrounding streets. There are no free parking spaces. It is recommended to use navigation.By coach:
At Tongerseplein, near Waldeckpark, there is a regular local bus stop called Tongerseplein/Hertogsingel. This may be used as a drop-off and pick-up location for a maximum of 5 minutes, provided public transport is not obstructed. From there, it is a 5-minute walk to the Minister Goeman Borgesiusplantsoen (walk in the direction of Cannerplein). Take bus line 9 towards St Pieter and get off at the Waldeckpark stop. Walk through Waldeckpark towards Cannerplein. The Minister Goeman Borgesiusplantsoen is on the right-hand side, on Elisabeth Strouvenlaan. -

Address: Von Dopfflaan 6 (formerly Cannerweg 798).

On foot:
About 40 minutes on foot from the Maastricht Underground Ticketshop and about 1 hour from the Maastricht Store (Kleine Staat 1, Maastricht). It is recommended to use a map or navigation. Note! Take the route via Mergelweg.
By car:
The former NATO Headquarters is easily accessible. There is plenty of parking on Von Dopfflaan. If this parking lot is full, you can drive on to the village of Kanne, from where it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the entrance via the footpath to Château Neercanne (from the parking lot, head towards Huis Poswick, then turn right onto Muizenberg and follow the path to Château Neercanne/former NATO Headquarters).By coach:
The parking lot on Van Dopfflaan is not accessible for large tour buses. We advise you to get on and off at the bus stop on Cannerweg, near Van Dopfflaan. From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the entrance. For the coach parking and other pick-up and drop-off locations, click here.
