This guided tour takes you through the development of industrial Maastricht, the arrival of the University and the reuse and areas on the edge of the historic center. A walk with special places, from lovely to whimsical and through the 'backyard of Maastricht'; the Frontenpark. This guided tour around the Sphinxkwartier will give you a different view of Maastricht. The common thread in this tour is the experience of the ever-developing city.
Comfortable shoes are useful, because it is a long walk at a comfortable and strong pace. The walk is therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties or people in a wheelchair.
