The guide will show you the area that was once used as a shelter for local residents and the area used to store the country’s most valuable works of art. A special safe was built to protect works of art including Rembrandt's Night Watch, which was stored here for four years. You will also hear stories about underground smugglers' routes and experience first-hand the innovative approach taken by Maastricht locals during the Second World War.
